4 Oktober, iPhone 5 atau iPhone 4s?

KOMPAS.com — Positif, Apple akan menggelar acara terkait peluncuran produk barunya pada 4 Oktober 2011 atau Rabu minggu depan. Pihak Apple telah mengirim undangan pada media yang berisi pesan "Let's talk iPhone".

Rencananya, acara tersebut akan digelar di kantor pusat Apple di Cuppertino pada pukul 10.00 waktu setempat. Gosipnya, acara akan dipandu oleh CEO Apple yang baru, Tim Cook. Jika gosip ini benar, maka acara minggu depan akan menjadi acara peluncuran pertama yang tidak dipandu oleh Steve Jobs.

Di acara ini, publik bisa membuktikan keandalan Cook dalam mengomunikasikan produk dan menggaet minat pengunjung.

Tidak jelas mengapa Apple memilih meluncurkan produk di kantor pusatnya, bukan di Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA), San Francisco, yang jadi tempat langganan peluncuran produk Apple. Alasannya diduga karena fasilitas 4G yang dimiliki Apple di kantornya, meski belum jelas apakah produk iPhone terbaru nantinya sudah mendukung 4G LTE.

Terhitung sejak peluncuran iPhone 4 lalu, ada jeda 15 bulan peluncuran yang merupakan jeda terlama pengenalan produk baru iPhone. Tahun ini, rumornya akan ada dua iPhone baru yang dikeluarkan Apple, yaitu iPhone 4s dan iPhone 5. Hampir pasti, minggu depan Apple hanya akan meluncurkan salah satu, jadi belum jelas apakah iPhone 4s atau iPhone 5 yang diluncurkan.

iPhone 4s memuat sedikit pengembangan dari iPhone 4 dan merupakan versi yang lebih murah yang akan ditawarkan, seharga 300 dollar AS. Sementara itu, iPhone 5 menawarkan "revolusi" dari iPhone 4, yang diperkirakan punya layar lebih besar, kamera 8 MP, Dual Core A5 Processor dan mendukung GSM atau CDMA.

Meski belum pasti apakah iPhone 4s atau iPhonoe 5 yang akan diluncurkan, undangan Apple ini cukup melegakan bagi para penggemar produknya. Penantian sebentar lagi berakhir. Ada banyak yang bisa dilihat selain teka teki spesifikasi produk, di antaranya adalah penampilan Tim Cook, apakah dia akan sehebat Steve Jobs? We'll see...

Kekuatan Sentuhan

Kompas.com - Sentuhan adalah satu-satunya dari lima indera yang tidak terpengaruh oleh usia. Saat kita menua, indra penciuman menjadi kurang tajam, indra perasa menjadi sulit membedakan, indra pendengaran menurun dan penglihatan memerlukan bantuan, tetapi indra peraba kita tidak berubah. Malah, kebutuhan untuk menyentuh dan disentuh meningkat.

Sesungguhnya manusia terlahir dengan kebutuhan akan sentuhan. Jika bayi dan anak-anak kurang sentuhan maka mereka akan tumbuh menjadi anak yang kurang peka dan sulit berempati pada orang lain.

Bukan hanya manusia, mamalia lain juga menyukai sentuhan. Ada banyak penelitian ilmiah pada orang utan, simpanse, kucing, atau anjing yang menunjukkan efek yang sangat berbeda antara bayi hewan-hewan itu ketika mereka banyak disentuh dan yang miskin sentuhan.

Diane Ackerman, penulis buku A Natural History of the Senses, menyebutkan peraba adalah indra dengan fungsi dan kualitas yang unik. Sentuhan akan berpengaruh pada seluruh organisme.  "Sentuhan lima kali lebih kuat dari kata-kata dan kontak emosional. Tidak ada indra lain yang mudah dibangkitkan selain lewat sentuhan," katanya.

Jika sentuhan dirasa tidak menyenangkan, tidak akan ada spesies. "Seorang ibu tidak akan menyentuh anaknya jika mereka tidak merasa hal itu menyenangkan. Jika kita tidak suka disentuh dan menyentuh, mungkin tidak akan ada seks," kata Saul Schanbergh.

Sebuah penelitian juga menunjukkan sentuhan dari pasangan yang dicintai memiliki kekuatan dua kali lipat dalam melawan stres. Sentuhan dan rasa nyaman yang diciptakan juga meningkatkan imunitas dan mempercepat kesembuhan.

Semakin bertambahnya usia, membuat kebutuhan akan rasa dicintai pun meningkat. Kita perlu belajar memberi sentuhan melalui pelukan, ciuman, atau berpegangan tangan pada orang yang kita cintai karena kebutuhan akan perasaan dicintai dan tidak sendiri merupakan salah satu cara manusia bertahan hidup.

In this century, people around the world facing fastest changing in every area of their live. Improvement of science and technology makes human can life easier also harder. By vehicle people can go anywhere they want faster and more comfortable. But in the contrary, machine has eliminate a lot of employment for their too. It makes them study and work harder and also have to achive higher than before. In this time, young people getting frustrate to win the competition between millions young people to get a better life. 

So, what should we do?
